Microsoft has added security to Windows called "User Access Control" (UAC),  that does affect Kaiser because it is an Application (.exe) downloaded from the Internet. Windows Vista, 7,8 and even worse, the dreaded 10 have this feature that people hated. Microsoft is now pushing everyone in the same direction as the Mac OS, Iphone and Ipad. They prefer you to download from the Microsoft Store. They abuse you with dialogs and security warnings if you download anything from the Internet instead of the Microsoft Store. This makes it difficult for older programs to cope. This is why there is a new Version of Kaiser coming.

Some of you may need to try this to get Kaiser to update. You only need to do this if Updating doesn't work. There are 2 Options below.

Option 1

1) Close Kaiser
2) Right Click the Kaiser icon on your desktop and choose Run as Administrator

answer YES to any Security warning.

3) Login and when prompted to Update choose YES

Option 2

1) Close Kaiser completely
2) Click on your Windows Start Menu (The Flag most likely in bottom Left Corner)
3) Navigate under All Programs or All Apps to Kaiser Network
3) Select KNUpdate if its there to start the Update process
